A stunning villa, built in 2003, in a privileged location overlooking the sea with multiple terraces and heated private pool to make the most of this sunny, south facing plot. Everyone who enters the house is left speechless because from the moment you open the beautiful stained glass door, you are faced with truly awe inspiring views of the sea, mountains, and the castle of Salobreña. The castle is illuminated at night. It is picture perfect! Upon arrival, our guests always tell me that our photos don't do the villa justice. It is something that has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. Villa Mar Azul has everything you could possibly need to relax and enjoy, from cold and hot air conditioning to a heated pool, WiFi, satellite TV, DVD, a barbeque, tables and chairs for al fresco dining and sun loungers. Treat yourself to a week of paradise at Villa Mar Azul. We are sure that you won't want to leave!

Accommodation
Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms (1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms)
Bathrooms: 3 bathrooms (all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms).
Kitchen: Fully equipped, all electric kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, juicer, washing machine, iron/board.
Living Rooms: Lounge plus separate dining area. Dining room table seats 6 and the breakfast bar seats 2.  WiFi for use with your laptop, Satellite TV/radio, DVD, cassette and CD player with good selection of CD’s and books.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: Bath & pool towels are provided. Pool towels are not to be taken outside the villa grounds and need to be washed and hung outside to dry the evening before departure ready for the next guests.  The villa is thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival & left in absolutely perfect condition. Additional cleanings can be arranged throughout your stay.

Outside
Heated, 8m x 4m private swimming pool. We have a thermal blanket that helps to maintain the warm temperature of the water and thereby reduce on heating costs.
Terraces off the lounges and dining area plus 2 of the bedrooms. Perfect for al fresco dining and sunbathing.
Extensive (120 square metres) two level decking terraces with access from both levels, plus 200 square metres of tiled terraces around the pool with outdoor table and chairs, sun loungers and BBQ.
Guests have free access to the private, community recreation area that includes tennis court, football field, large pool, children's pool, playground, table tennis and a kiosk selling drinks and refreshments in the summer.

Further details
Salobreña, dazzling and white, in the heart of the Costa Tropical, situated on a hilltop overlooking the Mediterranean.  It is one of the prettiest towns in southern Spain with its winding narrow streets and magnificent Moorish castle perched high on the hill. The scenery ranges from lush sugar cane, fruit plantations, rugged snow-capped mountains, coves and beaches, pine forests and almond groves. The area enjoys a sub-tropical climate, with a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius in winter & 25 degrees in summer, allowing for year round enjoyment of the nearby golf course and the various beaches spread over 19 kilometres of coastline.
Opportunities for walking, climbing, water sports (the beach is only 5 minutes away), golf (only 10 minutes to the nearest course), horse riding, hang gliding and even skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Nearby mountain villages await to be discovered where it seems as if time has stopped. Granada, the Moorish capital with the breathtaking Alhambra Palace and relaxing thermal spas are only 45 minutes away, Malaga 1 hour (Cheap flights are available into Malaga airport), Nerja 30 minutes, Almuñécar water park 15 minutes. You won't be bored here, unless you just want to sit by the pool and take in the views!
There is inexpensive excellent seafood, wines and local markets offering superb fresh produce. The owners provide useful information on everything from sight seeing and entertainment options to restaurant and shopping tips.

Booking notes
Payment is requested in Euros or GB Pounds Sterling. There is a 30% deposit when booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. A Security/breakage deposit of £350 / €400 is also payable 8 weeks prior to your arrival. We include an allowance of 100Kw hours per week of electricity in the rental price. Additional usage is charged extra and deducted from your security deposit. This is to cover for air conditioning/heating and pool heating and to help prevent guests from leaving the pool uncovered when not in use, and leaving windows and doors open when Air-con and heaters are turned on. For bookings of less than 2 weeks we charge for final cleaning at £75 which is deducted from your security deposit. Rates are for up to a maximum of 6 people.
