The contract is between us, (the owners)
and the person named as the party leader.
1. Reservation Process
All bookings must be confirmed by email or in writing which will
hold your selected week(s) for a period of 7 days. In those 7
days you must send to us payment of the deposit, or if the
reservation date is within 60 days of your start date, the full
amount including security deposit. If payment is not received
within the 7 days the reservation will be cancelled.
2. Deposit
A deposit of 30% of the total rental is required to secure the
property.
3. Security Deposit
A security deposit of £350 / €400 must be paid for each booking
and will be held against any loss or damage caused to the
property or its contents. The deposit will be returned within
14 days of your returning the keys to the Managing Agents and is
subject to a satisfactory report from the Managing Agents. For
periods when electricity is charged extra, this will be deducted
from the security deposit.
4. Balance of Payment
The balance of the rental cost plus the appropriate security
deposit is payable no later than 60 days prior to departure.
Where a booking is made within 60 days of the departure date,
payment in full is required including the security deposit. If
the balance is not received at least 60 days before departure,
the booking shall be deemed cancelled and the booking deposit
forfeited.
Kindly insure that the payments are received net of any transfer
costs by instructing your bank to debit you for any associated
costs.
5. Cancellation charges
In the event of cancellation for any reason the party leader
must notify us by email or in writing. The following
cancellation charges will apply:-
• More than 60 days before arrival -
deposit only
• 59 to 45 days before arrival - 50% of the total rental cost
• 44 days or less before arrival - 100% of the total rental cost
We accept no responsibility whatsoever,
and no payment or other compensation will be payable, if
cancellation or changes to the terms of booking are brought
about or become necessary due to war, fire, flood, adverse
weather conditions or natural catastrophe. In addition we will
not be responsible for closure or congestion of airports,
ferries, technical problems with transportation or cancellation
or schedule changes by carriers whether scheduled or charter.
Notwithstanding any of the above paragraph, if, for any reason,
the villa becomes uninhabitable prior to your departure, a full
refund of villa rental and security deposit payments will be
payable. Please ensure that you have adequate holiday insurance
to cover cancellation.
6. Occupancy
The accommodation is booked exclusively for the party leader and
their guests. We require that an adult must accompany anyone
under the age of 18 years of age. The maximum number of persons
is six.
Please check that your personal accident insurance is in order
for you and your party during your stay in the villa. We
recommend that you take out adequate holiday insurance to
include personal accident and forced cancellation resulting in
the loss of any prepaid rental.
7. Availability
The property will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival
and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. It is
expected that you will leave the property in good condition and
treat it with utmost care during your stay. After your departure
the property will be cleaned and checked. If the property needs
any extra cleaning due to misuse then the cost will be deducted
from the security deposit. We regret that pets are not
permitted.
8. Safety and liability
Whilst in occupation, your personal safety is your
responsibility and we do not accept any liability or
responsibility for any injury caused as a result of use of the
property, the property grounds, or anything in or pertaining to
the property. No liability is accepted for the loss of or damage
to any personal property or effects, such as passports,
documents, cheques or money belonging to any member of the party
whilst renting the property. Please ensure that you have
adequate holiday insurance. Strictly no smoking within the
actual villa or wooden terraces.
9.
Additional Charges
For Winter lets, (1st October to 30th April) we provide heaters
for all bedrooms and living rooms, and during this period, all
electricity consumed will be charged extra at £.14 (€.16) per Kw
hour minus pool heating is this is chosen and paid for with the
booking. Portable Gas heaters are also provided and an allowance
of up to 2 new bottles is included in the rental price –
additional bottles are charged at €15 per bottle. For all other
lets, an electricity allowance of 100Kw hours per week is
included in the rental price, additional usage is charged at
£.14 (€.16) per Kw hour. This is to prevent people leaving the
air-con on excessively or when the windows and doors are left
open. Wifi is included free of charge but telephones are not
installed and therefore calls are not permitted. In the event of
any breakages we expect guests to replace items like for like,
if not the cost of replacement will be deducted from your
security deposit. Any additional charges will be deducted from
your security deposit before it is returned to you.
10. The Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of England and Wales.
