• Set on a rustic and sloping plot, partially landscaped and terraced, located between pine trees and a
neighbouring house.
• The house is accessed at the back by a series of graduated steps from the car parking
area at the front, its elevated position affording spectacular views over
the Mediterranean and Salobrena.
• Not suitable for wheelchairs, people with mobility problems or toddlers.
• Private residential area and semi-rural location.
• Nearest airports: Granada approx 1hr 15, Malaga approx. 1hr 30, Almeria approx. 1hr 45mins.
• Salobreña village (3-4 kms drive)
with a selection of bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and banks.
• Salobreña Beach (fine pebbles) and promenade - 5 kms.
• Beaches, 9-hole golf, horse-riding, walking, scuba diving, parrot park, markets, Marina del Este, Moorish castles, Maro caves,
exploring mountain villages of Las Alpujarras, Granada and the beautiful Alhambra Palace and gardens built by the Moors, skiing in the
Sierra Nevada.

Location: This attractive south-facing villa is situated on a hillside overlooking the ancient village of Salobreña, between Almuñecar and Motril, in southern Spain. It has spectacular views over the Mediterranean coastline of the “Costa Tropical”, and Salobreña with its medieval quarter, narrow streets, whitewashed houses and Moorish castle built on a rocky outcrop. In the surrounding green fertile plain, sugar cane, vegetables and sub-tropical fruits are cultivated. The villa is ideally situated to visit the city of Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace, and to explore the mountain villages of Las Alpujarras. The Sierra Nevada mountains, usually snow-capped from November to May, are approx. 1hr 30 min drive away. This area has all the advantages of a beach holiday and, for ski enthusiasts or walkers, the mountains with their beautiful scenery and wildlife. It is said the unique microclimate creates more winter sun than other parts of the coast. This semi-rural area is typically Spanish and not yet well known to international tourists.
Accommodation: An attractive villa with 2 twin bedrooms, one with bathroom en-suite, separate shower room, lounge with TV, dining area, kitchen, terrace, car parking space, with use of communal swimming pool in summer.
• Lounge/Diner. Spacious and comfortably furnished, large bay window with superb views, ceiling fan, and Danish wood burning fire for
winter months. The dining area has patio doors to the terrace.
• Kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Zanussi electric fan oven, hob with two electric hot plates and two gas burners, microwave,
fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron, ironing board, and granite type work surfaces.
• Bedroom 1. Twin beds, bathroom en-suite, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, ceiling fan and patio doors to the terrace.
• En Suite Bathroom. Fully tiled with vanity unit, bath with shower over, toilet and bidet.
• Bedroom 2. Twin beds with small wardrobes either side, chest of drawers, ceiling fan and patio doors to the terrace.
• Shower Room. Fully tiled with a large walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet.
• Outside. The setting is very rustic and natural, the sloping plot being partially landscaped and
terraced, bordered on one side by a copse of pine trees, and on the other by
a Spanish neighbour’s house. The house is accessed at the back via a series
of graduated steps from the car parking area at the front, and its elevated
position affords spectacular views over the coastline, village and tropical
plain. The mountains rise up in the distance.
• General. Bed linen and hand & bath towels are provided, but guests must provide their own sunbathing/beach towels. Blankets are provided
for winter months when temperatures can drop considerably in the evenings.
• Terrace furniture and sun-beds are provided.
• No smoking policy, no pets permitted.
